# Add-in Installation Error HRESULT -2146697208

After an install attempt we received an error that pointed to a setup log file as follows:

When checking the log, after scrolling to the bottom of the document you will see the text "URLDownloadToCacheFile failed with HRESULT ‘-2146697208’

The fix for this was found [here](https://stackoverflow.com/questions/43451496/urldownloadtocachefile-failed-with-hresult-2146697208) - but follow the below steps to resolve the error.

1. Open the Registry by clicking on the Start button and searching “ **RegEdit** ”

2. Navigate to **[HKEY\_CURRENT\_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Internet Settings** and within that folder locate the item called “DisableCachingOfSSLPages”

1. Right click on **DisableCachingOfSSLPages** and click “Modify” and the below dialog will pop up. This value may be “1”, so change that value to “0” and click OK.

1. **DisableCachingOfSSLPages** should now say 0x00000000 (0)

1. Once this is completed, delete the .exe file and re-download from [online.cremodels.com](https://online.cremodels.com)

2. Upon running this you should be all set, but in some cases you may get the below error:
