Today we had a client call in with an issue. They were logging in, properly going into the library and selecting the model to open. However, upon clicking on the library file the green loading bar at the bottom cycles through but no model opens. Instead the operation ceases. This may also occur when a user clicks the download button and then nothing happens (i.e. - no download dialog shows up nor the template.)
The app itself seemed to be working because the user was able to log in and out successfully, and see updated library information when a library model was modified / added.
When encountering the above issue, follow the below steps:
- Navigate to File > Options
- Select Trust Center
- Select Trust Center Settings
- Navigate to Macro Settings and enable “Trust access to the VBA project object model” and click OK.
- Log out and back in then attempt to open the library file one more time.
